This gouda fenugreek cheese has an excellent aroma slightly reminiscent of hay, not surprising since it is also called Greek hay. The characteristic flavour of raw milk farmer’s cheese combined with fenugreek creates a delicious sweet and nutty note and hints of maple-syrup-like sweetness. It is a golden combination it is almost like the perfect ”marriage”!
The cheese farm in the Netherlands traditionally makes this naturally matured Gouda cheese with fenugreek seeds using raw cow’s milk.
